Li Qing's paintings, installations and video works often look for rational cracks between similarities and contradictions, act on the viewer's feelings, cognition through circuitous and overlapping structures. After copying the top view of the classic European palaces in the middle ages, the Drug Palace (Lot 1100) replaced the main building with a medicine box, and marked 'DRUGS' in the title. The palace was jokingly changed into a 'medicine hall'. He deliberately made the proportion seem illogical, and emphasized the differences in hue, brightness and definition. For example, we can see poor PS pictures everywhere today. It seems that he is playing a prank, mocking the authority represented by the classic images, or worrying about the confusion of image information after the overflow of processing methods, with a strong sense of concept.
